A Dangerous King
By: Pastor David
Series: King of Kings
This Sunday we celebrate World Communion Sunday. We proclaim that Jesus is King of the
whole earth, and that His Kingdom extends over the entire world. As King of Kings, Jesus
is dangerous: to evil (for Jesus defeats evil), but also to us! He does not leave us as we are,
but the Lord of our lives, He calls us to change and grow as He desires.

Sep 12, 2021“Always Winter, Never Christmas”By: Pastor DavidSeries: King of KingsThis Sunday we begin our fall message series, exploring how Jesus is our King. As we don’t understand monarchs very well here in America, we’re turning to the world of Narnia (constructed by C.S. Lewis in his Chronicles of Narnia, particularly in the movie adaption The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe) and its lion king Aslan to see how we can relate to Jesus as our good and mighty King. For our first Sunday we’ll see how Narnia’s perpetual winter teaches us about our human condition and struggle. We need a Savior-King!

dramatic, but we’ll discover that once again, this story really isn’t about Daniel at all!
Ultimately, it’s about us, and what we will do with God. Will we stand WITH God, no
matter what? We’ll be listening to the Holy Spirit to hear what we each need to do to stand
steadfastly WITH God. - Aug 20, 2021Stand Against
