“Save All You Can”Proverbs 31:10-31Save has two meanings for Christians! One is that Jesus saves us from our sins, and saves us for a relationship with Him that lasts in eternity. The other is a money idea, that we save up our resources for needs and times that are coming. God blesses us so that we are equipped to live into our mission. This Sunday we’ll be talking about how the discipline of saving money makes possible future ministry wecan’t yet see. This is the second of our messages on money: Earn, Save and Give.

“Earn All You Can”Timothy 6:1-10It’s time to talk about money...and it’s good that we do. Every day we struggle with how to handle our money well, so we need to come back to God and ask how wecan do it better. But you might be surprised this Sunday. Rather than hearing about how we should learn to live on less and be content with that, we’re discovering that God’s word teaches us to be industrious and hard-working, earning, as John Wesley says, “all you can.” What? Does this mean we should be work-oholics, and focused on our earningpotential? Come this Sunday to learn how to live well with our wealth!
